Haben Sie einen Bug in OpenOffice.org gefunden?

Wir verwenden eine modifizierte Variante von Bugzilla, genannt "Issuetracker". Das Wort Issue hat im Englischen zwei Bedeutungen: 1. Streitfrage/Problem, 2. Auflage, z.B. einer Zeitung. Die Doppelbedeutung "Streitfrage/Problem" ist sinnvoll, denn Issuetracker wird für Bugreports, für Verbesserungsvorschläge wie z.B. Feature-Requests, aber auch zur Übermittlung von Patches verwendet. Kurz gesagt immer dann, wenn man den Entwicklern der Software etwas mitteilen will.

Via Issuetracker kann man herausfinden, ob ein bestimmter Bug schon von jemand anders gemeldet wurde. Ist das nicht der Fall, kann man ihn selbst melden, ist er bereits bekannt aber noch nicht behoben, kann man der existierenden "Issue" eigene Kommentare, Dateien etc. anfügen, um das Beheben des Fehlers zu erleichtern.

Meldungen über Programmfehler sind wichtig. Falls Sie mit Issuetracker nicht auf Anhieb klarkommen, melden Sie sich bitte auf einer unserer Mailinglisten.
