  • Erstkontakt: Langjähriger StarOffice Nutzer (Version 4 war damals als OEM bei meinem Rechner dabei), erste Version von OpenOffice.org war Build 605 (Beiweis gefällig? Hier bitte: Ab zu Issue 37 :-).

      Zur Zeit Mandrake 9.0, vorher (und vielleicht demnächst wieder: Caldera OpenLinux Workstation 3.1.1) (mit gnome2 als graphische Oberfläche)
    • Lieblingseditor:
      vim (das muß einfach gesagt werden ;-)
    • Was stelle ich damit an:
      mp3-Jukebox, Mail-/News-/Web, OpenOffice.org (hauptsächlich Writer & Calc)

  • Motivation: Man hat es nicht mit einem schwarzen Loch zu tun; meine Arbeit ist hier nicht umsonst.
    Auch deshalb, weil ich eine Gegenleistung für eine kostenlose Software von diesem Umfang erbringen will (und für angebracht halte). Meine hauptsächlichen Aufgaben sehe ich darin anderen Usern zu helfen, Dokumente zu übersetzen und Bugreports zu schreiben. Das gute an der Arbeit hier ist, dass ich mir frei aussuchen kann, wann ich mithelfe - je nach Wetter und Laune ;)
