- Are Apache OpenOffice binaries legal for commercial/business use?
Yes, you may use Apache OpenOffice binaries for commercial use..
- Does the Apache License 2.0 give me the right to modify and distribute any version of OpenOffice
The licence permits you to modify and distribute the version of OpenOffice that is distributed by Apache. That is the version covered by the licence. Parties distributing other products based on OpenOffice may have made their own modifications which are covered by their own licence which may have additional terms and conditions.
- Can I sell and otherwise distribute OpenOffice?
Yes. Our license, the Apache License 2.0, allows anyone to sell and otherwise distribute OpenOffice, under the conditions described in the license./p>
- How can I get OpenOffice in some language other than English?
OpenOfficeg has been translated in to many languages besides English. We list supported languages on our download pages.
- I'm having trouble with fonts, is there a solution?
Yes. You'll be glad to learn that Christof Pintaske has written an excellent font troubleshooting guide.
- Can I attach a file to a Bugzilla Issue?
Yes. Our current limit is 10MB (ten megabytes). Attaching a file to an issue is a two-step procedure and is not obvious. You must first submit the issue or locate the issue to which you wish to attach the file. Then, you can add the file as an attachment to that issue.
