1.Launch Applications and create a sc document and input data,such as this Item Units Counts Total Binders $3.00 38 $114.00 Desk $5.00 47 $235.00 PEN $8.00 34 $272.00 Pen Sets $12.00 15 $180.00 Pencils $1.00 55 $55.00 2.Select a range from the data then click Insert-)Chart. 3.Click Finish button and a chart is created on the selected range. 4.Double-click the chart to chart edit mode.

Click Layout-)Chart Type.

Chart Type dialog pops up.

Check Column and Line in left panel.

Column and Line type is displayed in right panel.

Select one type in type list:

Columns and Lines

Stacked Columns and Lines

The chart changes to the selected Column and Line type.

Change the Number of lines.

The chart changes to the setting.

Click OK.

Save and close document then re-open.

The chart setting is not lost.
