Summary:

To verify that text * cell properties can be applied/modified properly - numbers - date. 1. Default category is General. 2. All other controls in the dialog are grayed out when category is General.

New a spreadsheet.

New spreadsheet is created.

Input a number into one cell, then select the cell.

Enter 'Format Cells' dialog and active Numbers tab.

Category should be General as default.

Change category to Date.

Category is changed, default date format is selected, and preview in preview field should update properly.

Click OK button.

Default date format should be applied properly.

Repeat steps 3 to 5 several times, select some other options in Format list.

Specific date format should be applied properly.

Input a number into another cell, then repeat steps 3 to 5.

Ditto.

Select the two cells mentioned in steps 2 and 7.

Enter 'Format Cells' dialog and active Numbers tab.

Category should be General, once date formats of two cells are different.

Change category to Date, and specify a format, then click OK button.

Specific date format should be applied to selected cells.

Undo several times, then redo several times.

Undo and redo should perform properly.

Save and close file.

Open the file.

File should be saved properly.
