QA Local. & Docu. - Mission Statement

The aim of the OOo Localisation & Documentation QA Team is to assure and improve the quality of localised builds. This covers language related areas (e.g. menus, mnemonics, online-help, tooltips) and locales (date/time/currency) on all supported platforms. The OOo Localisation & Documentation QA team supports native lang teams to deliver official localised builds that comply to the OOo QA standards, both on release period and on the day-to-day QA.

Apache OpenOffice is an effort undergoing incubation at The Apache Software Foundation (ASF), sponsored by the Apache Incubator. Incubation is required of all newly accepted projects until a further review indicates that the infrastructure, communications, and decision making process have stabilized in a manner consistent with other successful ASF projects. While incubation status is not necessarily a reflection of the completeness or stability of the code, it does indicate that the project has yet to be fully endorsed by the ASF.
