The spellchecker does not work at all. The explaination pop up diagram does not go away after I move my mouse to somewhere else.
Hi, Works for me and many others. Did you by chance do a -net install. If so you might want want to search bugzilla before filing your new bug report since that bug has been filed numerous times previously. Issues 2624, 2670, 3000, 3016, 3053, 3307. If this was not a net install, then please tell be exactly what you did and what the dialog box (that won't go away) says. Thanks, Kevin
I was using the file called "install641C_win32intel.zip" download from UK mirror. I did not do -net install, as I simply double clicked the file icon. I think it is good idea to make everything installed by the installation GUI, as windows users are most blinded people to do anything else. This time I did the -net install, again, I have to install twice to get my local copy of the program. I knew it because I have been using Linux with Sun StarOffice 5.2. I am sure for any normal Windows user, one installation is good idea. As Sun StarOffice 6.0 beta did. The check function doesn't work at all with the file created by Sun StarOffice 6.0 beta Wirter program. The pop-up diagram is the explaination pop-up diagram for each button on the GUI. After I point my mouse on one button and it shows up, I moved the mouse away, it will also show some other button's pop-up because the mouse's moving path is just over it. E.g. With the new button in the function bar, after it show's the "new" pop-up diagram, move the mouse down, about 2 seconds the it will also show "Bold" pop-up diagram. I have to click the mouse in order to make it disppear. I hope this helps to track down the bugs. Song Pan
No collective tasks, please! 643c: Spellcjhecker works and I don't see any misbehavior in the tip help either. When the mouse pointer is on top of a button, it will show as it should.
As mentioned on the qa dev list on March 5th I will close all resolved <wontfix/duplicate/worksforme/invalid> issues. Please see this posting for details. First step in IssueZilla is unfortunately to set them to verified.
