Last modified: 2007-02-05 03:04:32 UTC
Port and delivery of OpenOffice.org for MacOSX
join of sal/inc/sal/config.h rev. 1.10 join from branch
sal/osl/unx/module.c joined rev. 1.20, still a problem in osl_getModuleURLFromAddress (DL_info unknown)
Assigned to Ed ! ;)
Most of the patches should be included on the OO638C_MacOSX branch already. Exceptions are noted below. Currently, 4471 and 4474, aqua build patches, aren't in the repository. I'm waiting before I have a full successful aqua build that someone else has verified before committing the patches.
Adding most recent Quartz patches to dependency list
Add in known patches for OOO_STABLE_1, both NEW and CLOSED (e.g. committed) to the dependency list
Add more dependencies, both new and ones that were missed.
Add new sal 6126 patch to dependency list.
Added Printing Megaissue (issue 6728) to dependency list. This also brings in 6278's dependencies...
summary? "Port of MacOSX" Do you mean port of OpenOffice _to_ Mac OSX ?
Oh fine, be that way :) Issue summary changed.
Does OpenOffice work on Darwin alone combined with X11 and the relevant libraries?
thebeast: We try to keep Darwin compatibility. The Mac OS X specific pieces, like sound and locale detection, are conditionalized for Darwin and will simply fail to work/load on a pure Darwin box. For us, if something fails to compile or to run on a pure Darwin box, its a bug, file an issue for it :) However, be aware that some of our binary releases are _not_ pure Darwin compatible, but they should have been. The X11 final should be as well. Dan
there is no more activity on the 1.0.x release, so marking this as RESOLVED/REMIND in case somebody want ta take action on this.
Basic X11 port for OpenOffice.org has been done for some time now. Closing issue. James McKenzie
Also XDarwin has been abandoned as a project and will be no longer maintained. James McKenzie
