Saving Calc file to Excel format causing empty pages generated

See attachment. 1. Open the file with Calc. 2. Preview and see that it has only 12 pages. 3. Save as "Excel97/2000" format. 4. Open the newly saved file using MS Excel 5. Preview and see that it has around 200 pages. Many are empty.
