The OpenOffice.org Localization project

Welcome to the OpenOffice.org Localization project!

The major target of the Localization project is to provide tools and process workflows for both localization (l10n) and internationalization (i18n) (see what Wikipedia says about these 2 terms). This project creates and maintains localization schedules to make sure the native-language teams can work on the language product along the release roadmap.

Find information on how to localize OpenOffice.org in your language or improve the language by signing up and contributing.

Apache OpenOffice is an effort undergoing incubation at The Apache Software Foundation (ASF), sponsored by the Apache Incubator. Incubation is required of all newly accepted projects until a further review indicates that the infrastructure, communications, and decision making process have stabilized in a manner consistent with other successful ASF projects. While incubation status is not necessarily a reflection of the completeness or stability of the code, it does indicate that the project has yet to be fully endorsed by the ASF.
