Out of bounds memory access during WMF import
Description
An uncontrolled memory access in the WMF import code of Apache OpenOffice versions up to 4.1.16 allows a crafted WMF file to cause an invalid memory access, causing program crash or memory corruption.
Severity: Important
There are no known exploits of this vulnerability.

Versions Affected
All Apache OpenOffice versions 4.1.16 and older are affected. OpenOffice.org versions may also be affected.
Mitigation
Install Apache OpenOffice 4.1.17 for the latest maintenance and cumulative security fixes. Use the Apache OpenOffice download page.
