Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 9702
INCORRECT UPPER LIMIT FOR NUMBER OF COLUMNS
Last modified: 2003-09-08 16:56:16 UTC
I have openoffice 643C installed in my Windows 98 system. To replicate bug: 1.open an new text document in open office. 2.Select insert table by selecting the table icon on the left side. 3.In the dialog box, clear the 5 in columns cell and enter 8191 . 4.press OK. 5.A table with 2 rows and 8192 columns (the dark area) is generated. 6.Go to edit and select undo table to delete the table. 7.Now repeat steps 2 and 3 but enter 8193 instead of 8191.Place the cursor in the row cell. The 8193 will change to 8192 (max default value ?) 8.Press OK 9.A clear table with 1 row and two columns is generated. This is incorrect. So I believe the default max value for columns should be set at 8191 rather than 8192.
I see the problem: no OOo installation, no "INCORRECT UPPER LIMIT FOR NUMBER OF COLUMNS". But as you have written: "1.open an new text document in open office.", it's related to the word processor.
Raj, thank you for using and supporting OOo. I'm grouping this with issue 9685 *** This issue has been marked as a duplicate of 9685 ***
As mentioned on the qa dev list on March 5th I will close all resolved duplicate issues. Please see this posting for details. First step in IssueZilla is unfortunately to set them to verified.
