Description Unknown 2002-11-12 15:39:46 UTC
Reduplication step:

1. Open a document that contains only 16 lines. (test_compare.sxw)
2. From the menu bar, select Edit->Compare Document.
   After the Insert dialog launched,
select a file that you are going to compare (test_compare1.sxw).
   Click Insert icon.
3. A “Accept or Reject Changes” dialog launches.
4. The Action show “deletion”, and the different part between
original file and comparing file was marked.
5. When I select “accept” that means I don’t need this different part
   and want to delete them,
after a few minutes, the system become No responding.

I reproduced it on Win 95/ OO1.0.1, Win 2000/ OO1.0.1. Win NT/ OO1.0.1.

I can confirm that build 643 on Windows XP exhibits this hang. When I
right-click the task bar button for the Writer > Close, it closes.

ES->DVO: a bad 2 clicks loop. Works with any file content (i.e. dummy
text), as soon as a deletion change is accepted. This justifies an
1.0.3 target.
Comment 4 eric.savary 2002-11-28 12:10:23 UTC
ES->DVO: I forgot to say: can be reproduced in a early 641 and 644p!

ES->Henning: This task was targetted '1.0.3'. So it must be also fixed
for the 641 builds to come. Not only in CWS.
Fixed but failed (tested in 641a.8560)
Comment 17 openoffice 2003-03-07 12:37:01 UTC
