Description reuss 2002-11-09 17:25:07 UTC
choose a cell
right click on mouse - > format cell
choose language: hungarian, date type 1999.10.30, then ok
type 2002.10.16 in cell
the cell change like that: 2002.10.15
or 2002.10.17 ->2002.10.16
STRANGE!
and 2002.10.01 -> 2002.09.30
2002.09.01.= -> 2002.08.31 .... 2002.04.01->2002.03.31
WHAT A STRANGE BEHAVIOR!

I guess I should have read til the next line. ;-)

@Peter: We had a general issue with timezone glitches, fixed in the
644 build line, I think you were referring to that one. However, there
seems to be another issue left showing up only on Linux systems, so I
take this issue.
Comment 5 reuss 2002-11-28 19:15:43 UTC
No, it is solved in 643b. sorry for the inconvenience
Comment 6 peter.junge 2002-11-28 19:38:51 UTC
Hi Andras,
this really IS an issue that not always happens!!! It depends on the
time of the day! Eike who's the responsible engineer already verified
and accepted the issue.
Regards, Peter

> sorry for the inconvenience
Don't be sorry at all. Keep on reporting.
Comment 7 ooo 2002-11-29 11:19:36 UTC
Clarification: the issue is only with Linux, and occurs only if you
enter a date where DST (daylight saving time) is in effect. For
example, 2002-11-29 is ok, 2002-07-23 is not.

For the records: back-reference to iBIS task: #105129#
Comment 8 ooo 2002-11-29 11:23:40 UTC
Changing target. Since this bug doesn't occur in OOo1.0.x it's
nonsense to target the fix for OOo 1.0.3 ...
