scenario:
- in an empty spreadsheet select column A, right mouse click select "Format
Cells" and choose default (MM/DD/YY) format, click OK
- enter 5/3/2002 into A1 cell, then hit ENTER to confirm, the date will be
changed to 05/02/2002--the day before desired
- quick sanity check shows the behaviour above starting 5th month through 10th,
that is
1/3/2002 OK
2/3/2002 OK
3/3/2002 OK
4/3/2002 OK
5/3/2002 changed to 05/02/02
6/3/2002 changed to 06/02/02
7/3/2002 changed to 07/02/02
...
10/3/2002 changed to 10/02/2002
11/3/2002 OK
12/3/2002 OK
