Description rossnixon 2008-05-11 11:53:24 UTC
Impress presentation (.odp format) created in OO.o 2.4 will not advance to next
slide, or additional item on current slide in OO.o 3.0 beta.

Items set to follow on automatically after previous ones seem to be OK, but
items which should run after pressing space-bar do not.

Presentation will then not respond or quit (with Esc). Task Manager shows
soffice.bin using 91-99% CPU and memory usage increasing at about 380KB per
minute until task is killed.

Set to new and change the target.
Comment 4 christian.guenther 2008-05-15 10:17:30 UTC
To test please delete the animated text (issue 89496).
I can reproduce the bug in bea300m2

Comment 6 clippka 2008-06-07 19:59:05 UTC
fixed by removing the 'optimization' to use PostUserEvent if there is a running
animation of some kind. But seems like in recent build this freezes the
applications event loop. I now always use a timer to update the presentation
with a fixed minimum and maximum time value to wait. Looks smooth so far but I
have to check it in a product build.

fixed in cws impress144 for OOo 3.0
Comment 7 clippka 2008-06-09 17:41:43 UTC
verified in cws, animation looks fine on a decent system. Have to wait for user
feedback if we introduced any new problems....
