This is just a meta bug for MIPSpro compiler related bugs for which I need 
assistance to find the optimal solution.

Mostly a refresh - are there any MIPSpr news?

I have been concentrating on Mozilla of late ... waiting for MIPSpro related 
problems to be solved by the compiler group.  However I should be concentrating 
on OO shortly.  An SGI bug has been raised on this issue, whereas previously it 
has been informal inquirys.  I hope this escalation results in a fix shortly.

per issue 106845 sb removed the partial irix port, so this doesn't make sense in
isolation anymore
