Moritz, thanks for taking the time to post this issue.

Thank you for using and supporting OOo.

The attached RTF file crashes OOo 1.0.1.

Duplicated on Win NT 4.0 SP6a, OOo 1.0.1.

Need to isolate part of RTF file that is causing OOo to crash.

Moritz, is there any chance you can send over all the files needed to 
create this RTF file?

It would be ideal if you could isolate the page that is causing OOo 
to crash.

If I try to split the RTF file up in Word, Word is fixing something 
in the RTF file so that it will load up in OOo.

MRU->CMC: Seems to be a problem with the RTF "dialect" created by
latex2rtf. When building a new rtf file with Word, it is possible to
import.
When I try to import the latex2rtf generated file, I get loads of the
Assertion "konnte die Fußnote nicht einfügen/finden" (which means in
English sth. like: could't insert/find the footnote)

Time to do something about this bug. The problem is that two of the
footnotes contain footnotes. You can't nest footnotes like that.

Fixed our importer to not get into a panic about footnotes inside
footnotes, will be ok in 2.0
