Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 7420
formula export to eps creates broken files
Last modified: 2003-09-08 16:52:24 UTC
Inserting an formula object to the drawing, then entering (for example): %alpha = %gamma * %beta int { %sigma over %zeta } and exporting result to eps (selection) results in file unreadable by ghostview (gnu and alladin), with message: Error: /undefinedGNU Ghostscript 6.53: Unrecoverable error, exit code 1 in efp Operand stack: --nostringval-- Execution stack: %interp_exit .runexec2 --nostringval-- --nostringval-- --nostringval-- 2 %stopped_push --nostringval-- --nostringval-- --nostringval-- false 1 %stopped_push 1 3 %oparray_pop 1 3 %oparray_pop 1 3 %oparray_pop .runexec2 --nostringval-- --nostringval-- --nostringval-- 2 %stopped_push --nostringval-- --nostringval-- --nostringval-- Dictionary stack: --dict:1035/1476(ro)(G)-- --dict:0/20
Thanks for posting Igor. Could you please attach a file we can use to duplicate this problem?

Thanks for the files Igor. Duplicated on RedHat 7.3, OO 1.0.1 English, GhostScript 6.52.
This is reproduceable in version 1.0.1. In an actual internal version the code is not corrupted anymore but the result looks different to the original. I reassign this to Sven, lease have a look.

Reassigned to Sven.
This bug should be fixed in OO 1.0.2 A workaround is to export eps with glyph outlines. *** This issue has been marked as a duplicate of 3032 ***
As mentioned on the qa dev list on March 5th I will close all resolved duplicate issues. Please see this posting for details. First step in IssueZilla is unfortunately to set them to verified.
