Description Martin Hollmichel 2002-08-08 15:46:36 UTC
In the Linux baseed source cast installation we got whinemail in case that
issues still had the state NEW after seven days. It seems that since the
Solaris migration whinemail aren't sent anymore.

As far as I know (see also issue 157 there has to be separate cronjob running.
Is this also the case on the Solaris box ?

Comment 5 Unknown 2002-08-21 22:36:56 UTC
engineering has resolved a fix, they're working on automating the
process. I should have an update by the end of the week. thank you
Comment 6 Martin Hollmichel 2002-09-11 16:12:39 UTC
is there a new status available, it's two weeks overdue now.
Comment 7 Unknown 2002-09-11 18:45:53 UTC
I'm checking with Engineering. The internal issue says that the
functionality has been fixed, but I'm awaiting confirmation that it's
been put in place on OOo's server.
Comment 8 Unknown 2002-09-11 23:47:57 UTC
the engineers reported the whinemail fix as installed and up and
running. do you have any old issues that should be generating the
mails so we can test and verify? thanks
Comment 9 Martin Hollmichel 2002-09-12 10:42:43 UTC
I have some of them, but I didn't got any whinemail in the last weeks.
Comment 10 stx123 2002-09-12 10:56:52 UTC
Hi, me too :-(
to name one: 4103 for user stx008.
AFAIK whinemails are triggered by a cron job. At which day of the week
is the job supposed to run?
Comment 11 Unknown 2002-09-24 16:22:15 UTC
The engineers hasve reconfigured the service and rewritten the cron
jobs that handle this service. I hope to have an update soon.
Comment 12 Unknown 2002-09-30 18:25:47 UTC
per our calls last week, I wanted to check and see if you were getting
whinemails yet.
Comment 13 Martin Hollmichel 2002-09-30 18:35:47 UTC
there a no whinemail received by me, although I should have got some.

can you please check once more, when the cron job runs ?!
Comment 14 Unknown 2002-09-30 19:09:06 UTC

Comment 15 stx123 2002-10-01 22:46:16 UTC
See messages to issues@www.openoffice.org
http://www.openoffice.org/servlets/BrowseList?listName=issues&by=author&from=4725
for ealier messages. They were send once a week during the weekend.
And there should be a reminder about 3333, 3366, ...
Comment 16 Unknown 2002-10-07 19:21:30 UTC
engineering is running tests on the script manually now for testing.
from the looks of the internal work, it appears that the fix is queued
to be rolled out and installed by ops.
once this is done I will update this issue. thanks
Comment 17 Martin Hollmichel 2002-10-10 16:10:45 UTC
please run the cronjob weekly, before upgrade it was on Friday night.
Comment 18 Unknown 2002-10-24 20:58:42 UTC
