Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 5989
export to eps and subsequent conversion to pdf fails for single characters
Last modified: 2003-09-08 16:52:24 UTC
Whenever I create text in my drawing with only one character, such as for instance a label in a graph "3", and I export to eps, I cannot convert the resulting eps to pdf using epstopdf of ps2pdf. I get the following error message: abn@kabel208111:~/abn/images/istg> epstopdf semiconductoracc.eps Error: /stackunderflow in --scale-- Operand stack: --nostringval-- (6) Execution stack: %interp_exit .runexec2 --nostringval-- --nostringval-- --nostringval-- 2 %stopped_push --nostringval-- --nostringval-- --nostringval-- false 1 %stopped_push 1 3 %oparray_pop 1 3 %oparray_pop .runexec2 --nostringval-- --nostringval-- --nostringval-- 2 %stopped_push --nostringval-- --nostringval-- --nostringval-- Dictionary stack: --dict:1007/1123(ro)(G)-- --dict:0/20(G)-- --dict:97/200(L)-- --dict:97/200(L)-- Current allocation mode is local Last OS error: 2 AFPL Ghostscript 7.04: Unrecoverable error, exit code 1 The same thing happens with single characters in sub- or superscripts. If however I enter space-number-space, as in " 3 ", the conversion to pdf is done without problem. My guess is there is a bug in the eps export filter for entries with single characters.
Set to new.
