Description martho 2005-12-20 12:21:49 UTC
Hello!

I open a new writers document, insert a pagenumber, select and right-click on
the number and choose "fields". I get a dialog where I can set the format of the
pagenumber. The documentation (in German at least) says that I can offset the
pagenumber with that dialog using "+1" for example:
"Korrektur - Geben Sie den Korrekturwert ein, der auf ein Seitenzahlfeld
angewendet werden soll, z. B. "+1"."

But this doesn't work. If I input "+1" into the offset-field the page-number on
the document will get empty.

I know that I can go to the the first paragraph on the first page and use
Format -> Paragraph -> Text -> Breaks -> Insert -> "With Page Style" and set the
starting page number. But with that I have another problem: Having a document
with only one page (which sould be named "Page 2") my printer prints this page
and an empty page and it seems not possible to get rid of the empty page.

So it would be greate to have a solution for these problems or at least change
the documentation.
