Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 4393
Further information on calc charts exported as EPS
Last modified: 2003-09-08 16:52:24 UTC
I was about to report the problem with calc charts not being exported correctly as EPS from draw, but I saw this issue is already referrenced in 4024. However, I thought I'd mention that I'd found a way to get rid of the postscript errors generated by Ghostscript and create a (presumably) correct eps file. I don't really know anything about Postscript programming, and you've probably figured this out already, but I found that if I edit the generated postscript file and remove the lines near the very end of the file that look like they have unmatched parentheses, the file works fine with ghostscript. For example, here are the lines I removed from one eps file: -(.000-( -(.000-( t -(.000-( -(.000-( m -(.000-( -(.000-( l -(.000-( -(.000-( l -(.000-( -(.000-( l -(.000-( -(.000-( l I hope this helps!

Hi Scott, thank you for your help, you meet the point, the lines you mentioned are really misformed. Normally these lines should represents some float values. And you are right, this issue is double to 4024. Thanks, Sven *** This issue has been marked as a duplicate of 4024 ***
