Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 3647
Edited file... Saved... Printed... Saved file will not reload - freezes machine
Last modified: 2003-09-08 16:56:16 UTC
I created a text file. I was able to save and print it. Later I tried to open the file. The file appears to open, but if I zoom to show full page, text at bottom and footer are missing. If I do something else, the screen freezes (whole screen). Machine still runs (I have to log into machine from somewhere else to kill OpenOffice), and mouse moves, but nothing on screen responds... I tried to load again, but didn't zoom... When I "grab" the slider bar, this also causes the machine to freeze... I also tried this file on OpenOffice running on Linux... This makes the tool unusable for me!!! I'll try to attach the file... Help!

Dr. Hepler, thanks for posting this issue. It loads fine and I can scroll around the document using OOo 1.0.1. Reopen this issue if you still encounter any problems. Thank you for using and supporting OOo.
As mentioned on the qa dev list on March 5th I will close all resolved <wontfix/duplicate/worksforme/invalid> issues. Please see this posting for details. First step in IssueZilla is unfortunately to set them to verified.

For the purposes of keeping track of how many dupes we have of this problem (there are many), please dupe this to bug 3068.
Oops. Sorry. This is *not* a dupe of 3068.
