rotating picture

The feature i would like to add the word processor is the ability to rotate picture. I'll attach 3 files. 1 word file(example of how Word is doing it) 2 jpgs of how it looks in edit time and 2nd one how it look on paper. yours: ------ Harry Tasker

It's a "why not" feature... The Writer has already many Draw functions for pictures (color, transparency, hue...) it could also have the possibility (like Word) to rotate pictures. The workaround is to rotate the picture in Draw first and then copy/paste in Writer
"your" solution will make much more work. I tried to do it,and you've no idea how much work it takes to rorate it outside the writer than paste again. I think this feature must be included into OO 2.0
the 2nd thing is that the Writer doesn't open this Word file correctly at all. because of the luck of this feature.
