I have OOo 1.1 that comes with Mandrake 9.2.

When creating PDF docs with Writer, sometimes defects are created in the
final PDF doc in translating words such as: let's, it's, that's.

The DEFECT is the "s" after the end of string xxx's
is either placed farther than one charcter past the ', such as (let' s)
or the "s" overwrites the first character of the next word. (let' Xind out)
                                                                  ^overwritten
Not all xxx's strings are mistranslated, and I can't determine 
a consistent set of word characteristics which I can predict its
occurrence.

I can sen you examples of docs with the problem if you need to see some.
