Description paul.m.nz 2004-03-16 21:36:07 UTC
Have also tried this issue using OOO1.1.1b and it still exists.

The contents ( only of some word documents ) appear out of alignment
when opened in OO and even if saved and modified in the *.sxw format. TOC's
appear as follows :

N heading title ...................................10
N.N	Heading title 2.................................11
N.N.N	Heading title 3.............................................12
N.N.N	Heading title 3a...........................................12
N.N	Heading title 2a................................13
N heading title ....................................14
N.N	Heading title 2b................................15
N.N.N	Heading title 3..............................................16

The 3rd level heading is the only one that is out of alignment. All levels
of headings however are within the page boundaries. I've tried all
options under the 'edit index/table' including 'fill character, align
right, comparing other level headings to see what is different, etc...
Have even tried deleting entire table and reapplying. All to no
avail.

Situation is fixed if the 3rd level is updated to 2nd level or less, but this
doesn't really help

Screen shots or issue or sxw/doc file available if required.

please attach the offending document to this issue, so that we can reproduce and
fix the problem here. You can also send the document directly
(mru@openoffice.org) for the case it contains confidential data. Feel free to
re-open the issue when you've done.
Thanks for supporting us!

This problem should be fixed with OO 2.0 (see issue 15054). Please test this
with lateset snapshot build and your original MS Word .doc file.
