Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 2625
StarOffice beta 1 crashes if using previously opened file
Last modified: 2003-03-13 10:25:52 UTC
This relates to StarOffice 6.0 beta 1, for Solaris 8. The word processor application crashed when I tried to open a file from the bottom of the File menu (previously edited files). The file had been renamed since the last time it had been edited, and StarOffice must have tried to open it without checking to see if it still existed.
Looks like issue 2268, though that one got reported for Linux. Ralf, please sort it out, I'm sure that this got fixed in the meantime for Solaris, too. Second: This tool is for OpenOffice. As a StarOffice 6.0 Beta User you should know where to post your findings. Reassigned to Ralf.
Tested on version 641. No crash on my system.
As mentioned on the qa dev list on March 5th I will close all resolved <wontfix/duplicate/worksforme/invalid> issues. Please see this posting for details. First step in IssueZilla is unfortunately to set them to verified.
