'Format- Styles- Catalog- Numbering Styles- Modify- Position- Spacing to text' is ambiguous

The outline numbering dialog [Format->Styles->Catalog->Numbering Styles->Modify] is a poorly-implemented GUI. In the Position tab, 'Spacing to text' is ambiguous. what text does this refer to? First line? Second line? Initially it's not clear how 'Spacing to text' is different to 'Indent', until operating the control shows that it indents all of the paragraph except for the first line. So why not call it 'Second line indent'?. At least that would suggest its function. The 'Spacing to text' term should be changed to something less confusing, such as 'Second line indent', or similar. (Supercedes Issue 24375)

I don't think it is about second line indent, if you increase the value of this control even further, you'll see that also the first line will move further away from the left margin. Therefore another suggestion (mentioned by me earlier in Issue 24776 ): I found it especially confusing that the "space to text" doesn't refer to the space between the number and the text, but between the left margin and the text (not sure whether this is really the case). Maybe "Additional text-only indent", instead of 'Spacing to text' would work better, or "Additional text indent", or ... Maybe more should be changed to improve usability, since above suggestions sound a bit cryptic ... but "Second line indent" would work for most, it's not in correspondence with the actual behaviour.
To grep the issues easier via "requirements" I put the issues currently lying on my owner to the owner "requirements".
With the rather rare description I currently can't tell whether the reasons for this report still do exist in AOO 4.0.1, further investigation will be required
It is not worth doing anything in this old dialog. This dialog corresponds to the old numbering model till OOo2 and is only shown, when an old document is opened, that contains such old numbering. AOO 4.0 uses a new kind of numbering model and the UI item "space to text" does no longer exists. The current UI item is labeled "Indent".
Closing due Comment 5 and own investigations, current UI more or less solves reporter's requests.
