If I use my local formatting rules for currency (the UK pounds sign: £) SUM 
functions do not work after exporting to Excel. This also goes when I use them 
on my Palm handlheld via Document-To-Go). Tha URL has 3 (very small) excel files 
showing the problem.

I have loaded all 3 files in Excel XP and cannot see any problems. It
is known that the Doc-To-Go Excel filter has problems with files
exported from OOo. This is covered by issue 3948.
