Description djenner 2003-10-21 15:32:58 UTC
Using a table created in OOo's own dBase type file, I created a report from a
subset of table fields using the report wizard. The report was not correctly
sorted by the lastname field, though this was specified in report wizard. Data
was reported in exactly the ("natural") order it was entered into the table,
without any change in order. This happened several times, trying different
schemes, in the absence of crystal-clear documentation.

The data is correctly sorted >within< the table, using the supplied sort
filters. The same functionality also works from within the input-form document.
The data exports (e. g., to Calc) in the expected way, and as sorted, when
dragged to the sheet from the opened table.

This suggests a problem in the report-writer proper.
