Description atrasatti 2003-10-17 11:28:45 UTC
I insert an index in my document. As described in the help pages I set it so
that it add links to headers (all of them) including chapter number and title.
OOo automatically sets the style of the link as "internet link". I change the
style for both "LS" and "LE" as "Default" and apply it to all heading levels.
I click "OK" and everything is fine. I update the index and the style is still
default.
I close OOo, reopen the same document, the index style and link are still as I
had configured them. I update the index and magically the style returns
"Internet Link". If I edit the style and so on, the index is ok until the next
close and open.

This was verified on both documents imported from MSWord AND created with OOo
from scratch.

TOC character style issue
Comment 17 npedrosa 2007-01-17 23:51:42 UTC
I here propose the reopening of this issue. I have detected it in other fields
of the TOC. I created an example file " test_char_style.odt" where a custom
character style is named "boldy" is applied to Heading 2. Another one built in
is applied to Heading 1. Heading 3 is normal. The styles are applied to fields
E# and E and #.
When closing OOo and reopening and updating the table, only the field E# remains
with the applied style.

I am using OOo 2.1 from the OOo site with Opensuse 10.2
I have not tested it in windows yet.

best regards
