Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 17720
character styles on "table-of-content" entries lost when saving a document
Last modified: 2013-08-07 14:41:36 UTC
* open the attached bug doc * Therein, you see a Table Of Content (TOC), together with 6 headings * In the TOC, open the context menu, chose "Edit Table/Index" * on the dialog started now, go to tab page "Entries" * select "Level 1". The entry structure for this level is basically "E# LS E LE T #" * Select the "LS" (hyperlink start) element * not that in the "Character Style" listbox, "<None>" is selected * change this selection to "table_of_content". This is a character style "derived" from the "Internet Link" style, which only overrides the text color (light red) * do the same for the "LE" (hyperlink end) element * close the dialog with OK => the links in the TOC are "light red" now, which is exactly as intended * save the document * reload the document => the links in the TOC are still colored "light red" * in the context menu of the TOC, chose "Update table/index" => the links in the TOC are now colored with the usual link color Editing the table reveals that the character style for the "LS" and the "LE" elements is lost - they're again set to "<None>". This does not depend on the update of the table, but only on saving and reloading - if you edit the table immediately after the reload, you see that it's already broken.

fs->dvo: Not sure if you're the right person for this. To me it sounds like of problem if saving/loading, thus I think it may not be completely wrong ... fs->sba: To me this sounds a little bit like a PP1-candidate. Finally, it's a kind of data loss ... What do you think?
