both in spreadshit and in text documents, auto correct kept changing 08/03 into
08/03/03, and changing first letter in a sentence into capital. even after
"unchecking" autoinput or "auto format while typing".

Hi,

Sorry but wrong project.  Autocomplete is not part of lingucomponent (and personally 
I hate it too!).  So I am moving this to the WordProcessor project in the hopes that 
someone there will no the correct place for this.

FWIW: if it was up to me, all of that stuff would be disabled by default.
