Not sure if component "api" is correct fo this issue:

On OOo1.1RC5german under Win95 I found that if I try to insert a pseudo (any
file with picture-file-extension or invalid picture-file) picture-file does not
print an error-message. Just nothing happens. I think there should be an error
message displayed.

Do you to this by code or user interface?  Code, then API is correct.
 Otherwise pleas assign it to the components project (e.g. "Word
Processor").
