Description pavel 2003-09-26 14:32:31 UTC
Estonian is not supported in resource manager due to this omission.
Comment 1 pavel 2003-09-26 14:34:13 UTC
It is missing in both GetLang and SearchCreateResMgr.
Comment 2 Dieter.Loeschky 2003-09-29 11:53:47 UTC
DL->ER: Would you please takeover?
Comment 3 ooo 2003-09-29 14:33:19 UTC
Area code to return in GetLang() is 77.
While we're at it: add RES_ESTONIAN to
http://l10n.openoffice.org/all_supported_languages.html

Hi,
found this issue accidentally and can help if needed.
Issue 19279 that I opened while debugging setup problems contains all
patches I've created so far that are needed to get ID 77 working.
Last problem I see at the moment is with AutoText where directory for
sample Autotext templates is called estonian, but path, that is
inserted into Autotext paths contains et, so Autotext doesn't find
default templates after installation and paths must be fixed manually.
I'll dig it soon as to be able to fix it before releasing final OOo-1.
1.0 ET packages.

Peeter,

Thanks for your offer, but this issue is only about adding the
LANGUAGE_ESTONIAN / 77 thing to the resource manager, nothing else. In
adding languages I'm only involved in step 1 of
http://l10n.openoffice.org/adding_language.html, and the i18n related
parts if needed.

As for the AutoText problem: IMHO all autotexts are looked up in a
"full word" language identifier directory, for example, "english", and
the ISO code is not used. This should be consistent for all languages.

Hi Ause,

As you're working on issue 19279 anyways, please integrate the
resmgr.cxx patch mentioned there into the ooo111fix1 CWS, and set this
issue to fixed too. Thanks.
