Description filfor 2003-09-14 16:19:04 UTC
Sxw files with a complex table and header with an image are bad converted in
Microsoft word file (.doc).
The resulting .doc file created is bad red by Microsoft Word and bad converted
by OpenOffice word processor.
The problems I found in Tables:
-opening the .doc created in openoffice with openoffice:
 . Complex cells unions in Tables results in different way;
 . the last row (of my test file) has always a different height;
-opening the .doc created in openoffice with Microsoft Word:
 . writens in cells (seems) mainly lost;

The problems I found in Header:
- opening the .doc created in openoffice with openoffice:
 . Image inside footer deformed (height lesser than original);
 . header with different height (lesser);
 . footer enlarged;
 . table in footer enlarged;
- opening the .doc created in openoffice with Microsoft Word:
 . Header 'under' the writing area;
 . footer enlarged;
 . footer lost the image;

I can see the problems. These are all due to incompatibilities between
Word and Writer in handling headers/footers. These will be adressed in
OO 2.0. See also issue 14045, 18732, 17629, 11490 and 11493.
