Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 19523
alphabetical index doesn't keep page offset, 'word only' doesn't seem to work
Last modified: 2003-10-02 11:38:01 UTC
when doing the page numbering with an offset, this offset does not seem to be taken into account in the index. the 'word only' option does not seem to work for concordance files
Hi jfstrube, thanks for using and supporting OpenOffice... Please send a little document/concordance file/ step-by-step-description to verify your problem, thanks... reassigned to mci@openoffice.org
reassigned to es @ es: Hi es, I think this is something for you (concordance files...)...
MCI meant with "send": "attach a document to the issue". He didn't mean "send it via e-mail". Also: 1 = problem = one issue. You actually should have file 3 different issues for this. 1) the offset does not work: Don't use the offset for what you want to do there. Rathert do following: - use a page number without offset in the footer - set the cursor at the top of your document. - choose "Format - Paragraph - [Text Flow]" - choose Breaks: [X] Enable, [X] With page style. - set "Page number" to the number you want to see your document start with (Ex: 19). -> document will start at 19 -> the alphabetical index will use this numbering 2) word only: I cannot reproduce it. Word only works (file another issue if it still happens) 3) Delete all entries: this is an enhancement. See Issue 20599
