the help display comes in two panes. ON th eleft there is a tabbed display with a table of contents, an index, and so on. All that displays fine, the searches work, and so on. On the right is a page where the actual help text should display. NOthing shows up there at all.

This is to inform that this does not happen with Linux 638c but does
in Win2000. At least this is true for me.

I have found a workaround for this, form the mailing lists: if OO is installed in a path with no spaces in it -- eg D:\openoffice638 -- then the help displays properly. But this should be fixed, since there are spaces in popular desitnanitos such as "Program Files"
