Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 19409
Preview of existing presentations messed up by inexisting password
Last modified: 2013-08-07 15:20:27 UTC
If I save a new presentation without a password, then modify it and save it again, a null password is automatically added to the presentation. This fake password prevents previsualisation to work (from the 'open an existing presentation' option of the startup dialog box). If I "save as" without password, preview works, untill the next "save" command. Therefore it seems the save command always adds a password entry in the file, even if this password is void, and the preview code checks for this entry to pop up an error message box. By the way, displaying such a box is useless, it would be better to ask for the password for preview, or to say in the preview area that the preview is unavailable. CC
