Description jstorck 2003-09-09 09:40:50 UTC
When a shape (rectangle, circle etc) filled with a hatching is exported as PDF
the pattern is replaced with a solid coloured fill.

I cannot reproduce the problem. Would it be possible to attach the
source file and the exported pdf file? Does it happen with all
hatchings? Is it a user defined hatching? How do you export the shape
exactly? Thanks in advance.

Starting from an empty drawing:

 1. created an ellipse
 2. Changed fill from color to hatching
 3. Chose hatch type as black, 45 degrees
 4. With shape selected, chose export as PDF
 5. In export dialogue:
Chose export selection, print optimized (default)

I use Adobe Reader 6.0.
Comment 5 wolframgarten 2003-09-09 10:41:50 UTC
The problem is visible in Acrobat 6.0 but not in Version 5.0 that's
why I could not reproduce it in the beginning. Set to new.

This is not really a duplicate to issue 13119, but the solution is the
same, so i'll mark it duplicate
