Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 13119
Hatching PDF rendering
Last modified: 2003-11-10 16:48:34 UTC
Hi everyone ! I've compared the PDF and the PNG export of an OOo Draw file containing a hatched rectangle. The hatching is different, there is an offset (apparently...). Note : The hatching looks different depending on the zoom factor of the window (View -> Zoom...), maybe there is a link. (See the attached file for more details.) Bye ! Didier
Created attachment 5509 [details] The gz file containing the Draw file + PDF export + PNG export
Set to new.
Can be reproduced in 1.0.2 and a current internal version. Reassigned to Sven. Please have a look.
SJ->PL: The PDF filter is calling the DrawHatch method at the PDFWriter, so this bug needs to be fixed in vcl.

The code used on display and printer to draw hatches is now used for PDF also. Fixed in CWS vcl15.
pl->hi: please verify in CWS vcl15
HI->PL: Verified with vcl15 Linux. PDF is loaded with the GGV tool and the frame doesn't in the center, it is moved on top right.
My mistake. The adobe show it right.
PDF Export is improved in 680m_8671 (cws:vcl15)
fix is also in CWS vcl7pp1r2, so moving target to 1.1.1
