Description stx123 2001-09-20 17:03:55 UTC
As you can see from
http://www.openoffice.org/servlets/ReadMsg?msgId=116979&listName=allfeatures
features@framework was not able to send to allfeatures.
Comment 1 stx123 2001-09-24 15:38:33 UTC

http://www.openoffice.org/servlets/ReadMsg?

Comment 3 Unknown 2001-09-27 18:10:28 UTC
 Stefan,

I have seen messages in the archive dating past the date this bug was
filed for both features@framework and features@sw - is this still a
problem?

Thank you
Kat

I would like to wait for the next message from features@sw.
There were none since ezmlm complaining for features@sw.

Do you have any explanation for the problems and their solution?

Stefan,

Both bounce messages sited below are dated prior to 9/14 when
allfeatures was recreated as a sublist, and indicate that the bounce
occured because the message already had a header and suggest the
recieving list (allfeatures) should be a sublist.

Have a look at the archiv of allfeatures.
http://www.openoffice.org/servlets/SummarizeList?listName=allfeatures

There you will see that there are bounce messages from features@sw at
9/24, bounce from features@graphics from 9/25, bounce from
features@xml from 9/25.
I would like to see allfeatures receive messages from features@sw
after the bounce for sw, receive message from features@graphics after
the bounce, ...
Comment 7 Unknown 2001-09-28 20:13:21 UTC
The actual date for when the message was sent in each of these is
prior to when the list was set up as a sublist - for the example below
9/13:

--- Enclosed is a copy of the bounce message
I received.

                          Return-Path: <>
                          Received: (qmail 7997 invoked for bounce);
13 Sep 2001 16:45:34 -0000
                          Date: 13 Sep 2001 16:45:34 -0000
                          From: MAILER-DAEMON@h66.sny.collab.net
                          To: features-return-32-@xml.openoffice.org
                          Subject: failure notice

Hi. This is the qmail-send program at
h66.sny.collab.net.
I'm afraid I wasn't able to deliver your
message to the following addresses.
This is a permanent error; I've given up.
Sorry it didn't work out.

                          <allfeatures@openoffice.org>:
ezmlm-send: fatal: message already has a
Mailing-List header (maybe I should be a sublist) (#5.7.2)

I can look into retreiving the messages sent prior to the change and
posting them to the archive, but this could take time depending on the
resources available.

You're right. Thanks for being so tenacious.
No, old messages don't have to be retrieved.
