Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 13718
Make pdf export more feature-rich
Last modified: 2004-05-01 11:01:52 UTC
I like that you guys have added a native pdf exporter. It is a good start but it needs to come a long way to realize its potential. I am a programmer on a Document Management system for NASA. We now use MS Office and Adobe PDFMaker/Distiller to render office designed their products to be used in an automated server environment. It would be great if we could use OpenOffice.org's pdf exporter. However, there are many missing features that we would require. We need the ability to specify a prologue.ps and epilogue.ps. I am not sure if you guys are converting directly to a pdf or are converting from postscript so I don't know how hard this would be to add. One thing that PDFMaker does is bring over hyperlinks from an MS Office document.
TM->BH: Please have a look, this one is a wish for an enhancement.
Please explain more about your suggestion, one by one and in details. after that, try to find many people to support your suggestion by voting it.
Looks like this depends on Issue 4798 but I am not sure.
