Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 13211
different events listed in configure and assign script to events dialogs
Last modified: 2003-06-13 13:52:41 UTC
SframewotkINstall.jar.pro ed-0.2 rc4 There are two event bindings in the OpenOffice.org configure dialog which are not in the Assign script to event dialog. 1. print form letters. 2. changing the page count. Further there are two events listed in the assign script to event dialog which are not in the configure dialog. 1. JavaScript Error 2. Message Received Both dialogs should list the same events ??
Assign to Noel to investigate
Assign to duncan This I think is a simple issue and its just a case of identifying the events that are currently supported in OO and StarOffice - they should be the same, it looks like there has been a change between OO 643 and current OO, we just need to reflect this. should only involve changing event definintions/list in starbasic code for assign script to event
Event list was outdated. Events present in Assign dialog and not in Configure have been removed. Events in Configure and not Assign are document only events. Assign dialog now displays these only if the Document radio button has been selected.
Not sure I agree with statement "Events in Configure and not Assign are document only events." On So6.1 and OO.org, events 1. print form letters. 2. changing the page count. are listed when eihter the document radio button is selected or the OpenOffice.org(StarOffice) radio button is selected. I would understand that these events should then be listed under the assign scripting dialog when the All Applications radio button is selected ??. Reopening issue.
While two two events (page count & mail merge) may well appear in the Configure dialog for all OpenOffice, and the user can assign a macro to them. this assignment is not saved. These events are only appropriate to a single document. Closing as invalid. Suggest a bug is opened against openOffice Tools->Configure.
