Description Unknown 2003-04-01 14:07:30 UTC
In a template I use Tools.Outline.Numbering to create numbering for headings
by associating different styles with different levels of the outline.

However, these style assignments are 'forgotten' in the template itself and in
any daughter documents, if the template doesn't actually contain, in its
boilerplate text, any instances of those heading levels.

This issue has been experienced by several other users on a range of different
platforms and versions - several threads in the users list on the topic, but I
couldn't find a reference to it in the zilla database - apologies if I missed
it. For me I know the issue occurs on at least OOo 1.1Beta, 1.0.1, and 1.0.2

This issue may share common cause in part with a distinct outline numbering
problem in templates which arises when a numbering style (with an outline
structure) is used to provide numbering in a paragraph style. The Xreference
is issue: 12912 - the template attached there will demonstrate the problem as
I've repeatedly defined the outline numbering style associations, but since
the template only has level 1 headings in its boilerplate text, this is the
only element of the outline numbering retained in any daughter documents
created from it.

Kind Regards
Jonathan Wood

Sorry, just found this which appears to be duplicate of this
particular issue.

Not got used to the zilla search yet - apparently All operating
systems means it must have been submitted as applying to all
operating systems - it won't search all errors reported on any
operating system. We live and learn.
