Description sebb 2013-08-27 17:03:47 UTC
The script languages.js references NL community webpages, for example:

"cy": {"-": ['cy', 'Welsh', 'Cymraeg', 'n', 'http://www.openoffice.org/cy/']}

Some of the NL pages do not exist, for example:

http://as.openoffice.org/
http://www.openoffice.org/be/
http://www.openoffice.org/kn/
http://www.openoffice.org/oc/
http://www.openoffice.org/or/
http://www.openoffice.org/ug/

Also some of the pages exist, but have no useful content:

http://www.openoffice.org/is/
http://www.openoffice.org/km/
http://www.openoffice.org/mr/
http://www.openoffice.org/te/

And some still reference previous versions:

http://www.openoffice.org/ku/
http://www.openoffice.org/ru/
http://www.openoffice.org/th/

It seems to me that the user should never be directed to a page that does not exist or has no useful content.

One way to achieve this would be to disable the language.js entries where the NL page does not exist. The user would then be taken to the en-US download page.

Thanks for the hints. I've change the links to show the 'other.html' instead until we have a) a release for the respective language and b) a suitable webpage content.
