Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 11718
warning dialog not launched when run macro set to always and warning checkbox active
Last modified: 2003-06-12 14:12:24 UTC
SFrameworkInstall.jar.19.02.2003, StarOffice 644 build m3 (OO.org 644 not yet available for test), Solaris sparc 9. Deploy a script to a document, e.g. $HOME/examples/testbind.sxw. Under Tools, Options, security set the run macro option to always and check the Show warning before running to enable. Open the testbind.sxw document. Bug--> upon opening the document a warning dialog is not launched expected result:- Warning (#2 as defined in security functional spec) displayed on document load. Option to add directory to list of paths!! If Run selected macro will run. If not, macro will not run. Regardless of which option is selected, if checkbox is ticked, directory is added to list of paths. Further, upon invoking the macro to run, the user is warned that the document contains a macro, do you want to allow these macros to run . This is a different warning message, there is no option to add the path to the path list, this warning dialog should not be launched (it is not spec'd in the security functional spec)

Accepted, will investigate.
The functional spec described the incorrect behaviour seen with StarBasic (see issue 11822). Have decided to implment this in a sensible way. Will not fix, but will document accordingly. This needs to be release noted: requires_documentation.
