Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 11727
warning dialog does not get launched when opening document
Last modified: 2005-01-18 18:25:01 UTC
SFrameworkInstall.jar.21.02.2003, StarOffice 644 build m3, Solaris 9. Deploy a script to a document (testbind.sxw) and create a binding for it , e.g. File-bean1. Under security settings Select run macro according to path list, select show warning before running to on, select confirm in case of other doc sources to off. Ensure the document testbind.sxw) is located in the path list. Open the document testbind.sxw, BUG --> A warning dialog should launch upon opening the document. (according to the security spec's document) Further when the user elects to run the macro a warning dialog is launched, this is not part of the functionality according to the test specs.

Accepted, probably a duplicate of 11718.
Problem is that we are not hooked into the document open in this release and cannot launch the warning dialog until the script is run. Behaviour seen by QA is correct (for the moment!). This needs to be release noted: requires_documentation.

changing status to will fix later
Will not be fixed in 0.3 release.
resolved/Later OOo 2.0 seems not an acceptable status, please clarify !!
I think this can be marked as fixed? Tom can you check?
Macro security has been changed with the introduction of the digital signatures feature. I have verified that the warning dialog is working as expected for a document macro in the latest OOo 2.0 build.
verified as working properly in m71s1 build
