Summary:

verify the basic function of instant filter

Preconditions:

Launch application and open sample file

Sample File is opened successfully.

Instant Filer one column, say : Column A

Filter icon button should be added at the top right corner of the first cell of Column A.

Place the cell cursor inside data range somewhere besides Column A

Cilck main menu 'Data -) Filter -) Standard Filter'

the whole data range should be selected and highlighted, pop up 'Standard Filter' dialog.

Set the Filter criteria and Filter options in the 'Standard Filter' dialog,then Click 'OK' button.

Data should be filtered as user-defined.

Click main menu 'Data -) Filter -) Advance Filter'

Pop up 'Advance Filter' dialog.

Set the Advance Filter options in the 'Advance Filter' dialog, then Click 'OK' button.

Standard Filter in step 5 should be removed, data range should be filtered as Special Filter.

Repeat Step 2 - Step 7 several times as different sequence for Auto Filter, Standard Filter and Advance Filter

Ditto.
